Kent played baseball and football in college. He coached
freshman football, middle school track, and sponsored
several clubs. While running several fundraisers during
his last year in teaching, he was startled and dismayed
at the poor service school sponsors received from
fundraising companies. He founded Family Tree
Fundraising LLC in 1988 with the purpose of providing
full service to his clients, which included pre-pack,
practically unheard of at the time. In the last
decade, he and his son, Justin, saw a significant
reduction in the time parents, students, and sponsors
had to devote to a fundraiser. They both knew, once
again, a time for change in fundraising had come. It was
time to shift from labor intensive fundraisers to the
more modern, more productive fundraising method, we
call RexRaise.
When Kent is not working, which he hopes happens
more often, you can find him on a golf course, or playing
games with his grandson.
After graduating from Mizzou with a BS in Business and
Finance, Justin decided to use his degree and fundraising
experience to co-found T-Raiser LLC with his father, Kent.
Justin spent many hours growing up helping his dad in the
fundraising business. Realizing product fundraising has
become an unpleasent and less profitable experience for
many distributors and fundraising groups, he knew it
was time to develop a fundraising program that gives groups
much larger profits and fits the personality of parents and
students who participate in fundraisers; RexRaise.
In his free time, Justin enjoys streaming games and reviewing
anime.
